Our team consists of Jennifer Tena, Manuel Lopez and Yahaira Perez, and will be working in a research of whether police tracking phones is unconstitutional using the website http://www.house.gov/ of the house or representatives. Our team will be using a government website to not only find this problem locally but in all states. This website is designated to see what is happening in Congress. It is going to be used to link it to all the bills most recently passed or discussions on police tracking phones. Also this website is useful to allow us to see what the senate thinks about tracking phones plus we can get access to what is found in the archives of the US Congress Library. Most of our data will be from hearing notes or briefing notes and any bills/amendments we might find. In this website we can also see what the Congressman thinks about this issue and whether a bill will be passed down to the senate. In addition, we can see any input Congressman O’Rourke has taken into this matter, and see who has voted in favor of this. Not all access can be done through a UTEP computer or a computer at home but one of our teammates can have access to it. Our team believes that what better website than this to find out about something being unconstitutional through the US Constitution itself.
